Northport, Nova Scotia - the warmest waters north of the Carolinas with beach's and sand flats that
extend 1.5km (1mi) out into the ocean at low tide. Several golf courses within a 1 hour drive including
the world class Fox Harb'r course where PGA caliber players such as Tiger Woods play. Fresh lobster
can be purchased off the boats from the fishermen on the Northport dock when they land their catch
from early August to the beginning of October. However lobster is available year round in the
stores of the small towns near by.
Northport Beach Provincial Park: Open fields abutting on a red sandy beach (accessible by stairs),
has sprawling sandbars that trap warm water, perfect for wading and beachcombing in.
Facilities include change houses, pit toilets, water taps and a picnic area.
This house is located in Northport, a small lobster fishing village on the Sunrise Trail, Route #366
between Northport Provincial Park& Amherst Shore Provincial Park and 14 miles from
Pugwash, 24 miles from Amherst. See map.
The cottage was built back in the early1880. Large fully furnished house:
large master bedroom with queen bed on main level, 3 bedrooms and full bath up stairs, huge eat in
kitchen with wood pellet stove, large living room/setting room open concept
with 32" TV barbeque etc walking distance to the provincial park beach
Pets welcome with additional deposit.
No smoking inside the house.
